Found a toadstool or two, do I need worry?
Very interesting article I found after listening to a podcast about the effects computers are having on our brains.

Not as long as you don't eat them...
My son and I call those, "granny killers." Probably not the same variety as the ones here in Canada. Enjoyed dropping by on your blog. :)
I have quite a few mushrooms also. They love moisture and decomposing matter (eg. mulch). I pull them out as soon as I see them and they tend to be fairly easy to control this way. Re: bread - yeah I did it by hand because I think the results are far better. We do have a breadmaker, which makes bread which is OK, but not as nice as handmade in my humble opinion. Oh, I also commented on a previous posting about garlic. Loving your blog!
Thanks LC, mutual fanclub...
Just noticed your blog via Lanie's blog. Welcome to the Newbies to Blogging club!
As for the toadstools/mushies etc that pop up, some can get quite lewd, weird, alien and downright smelly (the stinkhorns, which attract flies instead of bees). Whoever said "don't eat them" is right, but by all means get out that camera and take a snap or two.
Cheers
Jamie
